CMS Content Usage Policy

1. Introduction

This CMS Content Usage Policy governs the usage of the Content Management System (CMS), digital signage platform, cloud services, media management system, applications, and software services provided by MORIX Innovations Private Limited. All customers, users, dealers, distributors, operators, administrators, and organizations using MORIX software or CMS platforms are required to comply with applicable Government of India laws, IT regulations, copyright laws, broadcasting guidelines, cyber laws, and this policy.

2. User Responsibility for Uploaded Content

Users shall be solely responsible for all content uploaded, published, displayed, streamed, scheduled, transmitted, or played through the MORIX CMS platform, devices, applications, or digital signage systems. This includes but is not limited to images, videos, audio files, advertisements, live streams, promotional content, text content, third-party media, website links, social media integrations, and applications or APK files. Users must ensure that they have proper legal rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations for all uploaded or displayed content.

3. Prohibited & Unauthorized Content

Users shall strictly not upload, publish, display, distribute, stream, or play any unauthorized, illegal, prohibited, or objectionable content including but not limited to:

• Copyright-infringing content
• Pirated movies, videos, music, or software
• Adult, obscene, or sexually explicit material
• Hate speech or offensive content
• Defamatory or abusive material
• Content violating religious or community sentiments
• Gambling or illegal betting-related content
• Fake, misleading, or fraudulent advertisements
• Malware, harmful software, or unauthorized applications
• Political content prohibited under applicable laws
• Terrorism-related or anti-national material
• Content violating Government of India regulations, IT laws, or broadcasting norms

Any content violating applicable laws, public policy, intellectual property rights, or government regulations shall be strictly prohibited.

4. Compliance with Government Laws & Regulations

All CMS users shall comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Copyright Act, 1957; data protection and cyber laws; advertising and broadcasting regulations; intellectual property laws; and any applicable central or state government regulations. Users shall be fully responsible for obtaining any licenses, public performance rights, broadcasting permissions, copyright permissions, and third-party content approvals required for displaying or using content through MORIX systems.

5. Monitoring & Content Removal Rights

MORIX reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor system usage, restrict suspicious activity, suspend accounts, remove prohibited content, disable access to services, and cooperate with legal authorities if any content is found to violate company policies, legal requirements, or government regulations. MORIX may take immediate action without prior notice in cases involving illegal, harmful, or policy-violating content.

6. User Liability & Indemnification

The customer/user shall be solely liable for uploaded content, copyright violations, legal disputes arising from displayed content, government penalties, third-party claims, and intellectual property infringement. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless MORIX Innovations Private Limited, its directors, employees, distributors, and partners against any claims, losses, damages, penalties, legal actions, or liabilities arising from misuse of the CMS platform or unauthorized content usage.

7. Suspension & Termination Rights

MORIX reserves the full right to suspend or terminate CMS access, disable licenses or cloud services, restrict platform usage, and remove uploaded content without refund or compensation if any user is found violating this policy, applicable laws, or government regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

MORIX Innovations Private Limited acts only as a technology platform and software service provider. MORIX shall not be responsible for customer-uploaded content, copyright violations by users, public display permissions, broadcasting approvals, user-generated advertisements, or third-party legal claims related to uploaded content. All responsibility for content legality, ownership, permissions, and compliance shall remain solely with the respective user or organization operating the CMS platform.
